I have come to a conclusion that "the most important thing in life is building relationships".
Since no one is an island, in all that we do we will need to relate with others. Every woman and man needs to cultivate the habit of building and keepng relationships, you know like the slang goes "it is all about networking"
Man needs to build and sustain his relationship with his creator.
The Leader needs to build relationship with his followers to get the best from them. The Pastor has to build do it to keep his congregation.
Let us look around, is there anything you have achieved all by yourself on earth. While we were growing up we had parents, sibblings, in school we have class mates, teachers, at work we have bosses, colleagues, at home we have got our neighbours, we relate with people as we go about our daily activities.
Our success in life is largely tied to how well we relate with others. Your sucess with your Creator is based on your relationship with HIM. The same thing applies to your success with your spouse.
A little note of kindness, a complimentary, a call, a text message, a visit, a letter of appreciating are all things we can do to build this relationships. Above all let us spend quality time building the other person up.
Straighten any rough edges in yourrelationships by apologising. See things from the others person's perspective too, put yourself in his/her shoes.
As we do all these, God will help us to become better people.
